About Us

prayergroupWest Mobile Bible Fellowship is a simple faith community that gathers for Bible study, prayer support, and Christian fellowship.

We come from various church denominational backgrounds, have a passion for authentic missional living, and share a common purpose to “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 3:18, NIV).

Our Purpose…

West Mobile Bible Fellowship exists to grow our faith in Jesus Christ through simple gatherings of worship and by going to the world as His witnesses.

Our Beliefs…

West Mobile Bible Fellowship believes in faith in Jesus Christ as the only Savior and Way to Heaven (Ephesians 2:4-9), hope through the Bible as the only authority in matters of beliefs and conduct (Romans 15:4), and love for one-another as the ultimate witness of our faith and character of God (John 13:34-35).

Our Values…

West Mobile Bible Fellowship is marked by three primary values that govern our gatherings…

      • We value simplicity in our worship gatherings and Bible study approach. We seek to have gatherings of worship facilitated around the Word, rather than structuring our church around promotions of programs.
      • We value opportunities of discussion, questioning, and sharing thoughts without criticism or judgement. We seek to allow for participation as each individual desires, without losing the intention of our gatherings.
      • We value zero-budget requirement with voluntarily partnerships in cooperative missions. We seek to avoid debt and the need to raise funds, while voluntary tithes and offerings are maximized for cooperative missions stewardship.

Our Affiliations…

We are an independent, autonomous, and self-governed church ministry that is not funded, directed, or supported by any other church, denomination, association, or organization.

Although we are not officially affiliated with a denomination, we partner closely with Southern Baptist in cooperative missions and are members of the National Association of Evangelicals.

Our Missions…

While we receive no funding or financial support from any other source, we are regular voluntary mission partners with other churches and ministries in the cooperative work of the Great Commission, disaster relief, and benevolence giving.
