Pastor Steve Durkac

My name is Steve Durkac and I have the honor of serving as the pastor of West Mobile Bible Fellowship and am available to our community for pastoral care and conventional clergy services like prayer, pastoral counseling, wedding officiating, and funeral officiating.

I am an ordained minister with 30 years of ministry experience in different denominations. I am Southern Baptist, in agreement with The Baptist Faith and Message, and since 2000, have been involved with Southern Baptist churches and ministries, including serving as Prayer Ministries with the Mobile Baptist Association and a hospital chaplain with Providence Hospital.

I have previously served as a pastor and ordained minister with the Adventist denomination and I hold degrees in religion and pastoral ministry from Southern Adventist University and post-graduate Clinical Pastoral Education with University Hospital and Baptist Hospital in Pensacola, Florida.

I live in west Mobile, Alabama with my beautiful wife Stephanie, two of my four children, our family pet Keef, and have two grandchildren. In addition to my pastoral care ministries with West Mobile Bible Fellowship, I am a sometimes banquet comedian, and the proprietor of Steve Durkac Weddings which provides do-it-yourself brides with officiating services for Gulf Coast beaches and Mobile Wedding Chapel ceremonies.
