We meet on Sunday mornings at 10:00 AM until about 12:00 PM, at the West Mobile Wedding Chapel. Our fellowship offers a casual laid-back facilitated Bible Study with coffee, conversation, and light breakfast items.
You can listen, share, or ask questions as you want, without any stress of being called upon. We do church for people who don’t do church.
We do it more like a family get-together than like a traditional corporate program. We simply sit around a table with our Bibles and open up for discussion through a facilitated study series through a specific book of the Bible
We invite people of any or no church background to join with us as we gather together in simple fellowship, where we can talk together, be at ease with sharing, grow our faith in a personal way, recognizing that Jesus said, “For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them” (Matthew 18:20, HCSB).
- When: Sunday 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Who: You are invited. This is not a closed group.
- Where: 2098 Schillinger Road South, Suite 3, Mobile, Alabama 36695
- What: Bible study, prayer support, Christian fellowship, coffee, light breakfast items
Please visit us on a Sunday and see how we do church. No one will press you and no one will come visit you (unless you want a visit, then all you have to do is ask). We meet at the reception room of West Mobile Wedding Chapel, located in the “2090 Schillinger” office complex.
The address is 2098 Schillinger Rd S Ste 3, Mobile, Alabama. The chapel is directly behind the Progressive Insurance Agency and the Allstate office. They give you insurance, then come around to the chapel on the back side and get assurance. This location is about a 1/2 mile north of Cottage Hill Road and just a stone’s throw south of Pete’s Party Castle. It is about 7 miles from the I-10 Exit 13.
No Meeting Days…
One unique aspect of our fellowship is that we do “take-off” from time to time and will not meet together certain times of the year. Mostly, the times that we don’t meet together are on family-related holidays like Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. There are periodical Sunday’s that we take-off and encourage time for family activities or even for attendance at other church activities, but we always post “no meeting days” on our Facebook page. So if you are interested in coming by for your first visit, please check and make sure we are meeting by checking our Facebook page or contacting us.
Children & Students…
We have more of a family setting and involvement when we gather on Sunday, and that includes the children and youth. They gather with us, and our students participate in the Awaken Student Ministry of FBTC for 7th grade through 12th grade. Please visit the FBTC Student Ministry page or contact us for more information about your students.
